About Aria

My journey teaching Spanish began with a deep fascination for the language, literature, and cultural richness of the Hispanic world. I earned a B.A. in Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultural Studies, which provided a comprehensive foundation in grammar, phonetics, linguistics, and cultural context. Over 10 years, I have worked with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities, helping them achieve fluency, practical communication, and cultural understanding.

I teach with patience, encouragement, and adaptability, tailoring lessons to each student’s needs and learning goals. Lessons combine grammar instruction, conversational practice, listening exercises, reading comprehension, and cultural exploration. I emphasize fostering confidence, independence, and appreciation for the language, enabling learners to communicate effectively and engage meaningfully with Spanish-speaking communities.

Outside teaching, I actively explore Spanish literature, media, and culture to enrich lessons with authentic experiences. My approach emphasizes grammar foundations, verb conjugation, sentence construction, vocabulary drills, listening comprehension, conversation exercises, and cultural context. Lessons create a supportive and engaging environment where learners feel confident to make mistakes, ask questions, and steadily improve their language skills while exploring the richness of Hispanic cultures. I encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and active participation, making learning Spanish both practical and enjoyable.
