About Lynette
With 15 years experience teaching in public schools and 1 year experience teaching online, I often receive feedback from students regarding the way I support and encourage them, and the positive impact I have on them as person as well as the way their English language proficiency improves. Learning a language is empowering and I consider it an honor to join students on the journey.

I use a combination of methods and materials based on a student's needs. Classes are interactive and motivational, with a good dose of hard work and good humor. Sometimes I use authentic material related to a student's interests and sometimes material from existing curriculums.

Cancellation of a lesson, either by student or teacher, should be done at least 12 hours in advance. Due to costs involved in internationally transferring money, I am not able to give a refund should there be cancellations. I can however offer to do the lesson at an alternate time.
