About Elizabeth
I am a passionate, ambitious, goal-driven, and very enthusiastic individual who strive for excellence in everything I do. I have a year of experience teaching English online. I love being a teacher is it enables me to impart my knowledge and skills to my students. I also work in the e-commerce industry as a customer liaison which has harness my English communication skills and has taught me the art of patience which is critical for a teacher.
I am energetic, patient, and friendly to ensure that all my students are happy and always looking forward to our next sessions. I love engaging with students by asking them questions to check if they understood the material we covered and also allow them to ask me in return if they need clarity or further explanation to grasp a concept.
I listen when a student gives me an answer to a question even when they are wrong, then correct them after so that I do not lower my students’ self-esteem but instead make them comfortable to engage with me.

I consider myself a demonstrative teacher because I believe that seeing something in action is the best way to learn a topic or skill. I make use of images and videos to demonstrate a topic or provide worksheets that require a student to work through a scenario that covers the concept being taught. This has proved to be an effective tool for students who need a more hands-on approach to learning.
