As a sophomore at Northwestern University studying political science and classics, I have a strong academic background in writing, critical analysis, and mathematics. My experience tutoring middle school students in high school taught me how to clearly and patiently explain concepts across various subjects, including math, English, and history. Whether guiding a student through challenging math problems or helping refine an English or history paper, I adapt my teaching methods to fit each student's learning style, building confidence along the way.
Having scored a 1520 on the SAT, I’m also well-prepared to support students through standardized test preparation, offering personalized strategies to effectively approach each section of the exam. My tutoring emphasizes not only understanding the material but also developing effective study habits, time-management skills, and clear, persuasive writing techniques. My ultimate goal is to equip students with the tools they need to succeed academically, from confidently tackling math equations to crafting compelling essays in English and history.
