About Rafael
Currently, I am a sophomore at Kean University with a 4.0 GPA. I took calculus in highschool and again in my first semester at Kean. I went to a Magnet School in Scotch Plains meant to develop engineering skills in kids. However, I want to pursue a career in business, particularly finance, and attend college in the northeast. I enjoy playing soccer, teaching people things, meeting new people, and playing video games.

The first 5 or so minutes of a lesson will be set aside to talk with the student about their lives and get to know them personally because it can sometimes be difficult to be open about where we struggled with people we don't know.
After that I like to review the homework I assign at the start of a lesson and help the student with any questions they found tricky. Then we will continue with the next topic in their curriculum and I will complete a few practice problems with them and then watch them complete a few on their own.
My lessons are mostly for middle school/high-school students, however I am open to teaching college students as well. I'm able to help with Algebra I and II, Arithmetic, and Calculus I and Calculus II.
