About Sandrine

Hi, my name is Sandrine, and I am a dedicated, patient, and professional tutor with a strong academic background in Child Studies and inclusive education. I am passionate about helping students feel confident in their abilities and supported in their learning journey. About the lesson

I believe that learning is most effective when students feel understood, confident, and actively engaged in the process. My goal is not only to help students master content, but also to build their independence, self-esteem, and learning strategies.

I use differentiated instruction to meet each learner’s unique needs, strengths, and learning style. I explain concepts in multiple ways (visual, verbal, and hands-on), check for understanding frequently, and adjust my pace accordingly. I prioritize clear explanations, real-life examples, guided practice, and positive reinforcement. When needed, I break tasks into manageable steps and use scaffolding to support learning.

A typical lesson begins with a brief check-in and review of previous material to assess understanding. I then introduce or revisit the target concept using clear explanations and examples. This is followed by guided practice, where we work through problems or activities together. As confidence grows, students complete independent practice while I provide feedback and clarification. Each session ends with a summary of key takeaways and strategies they can use independently.

What sets me apart is my strong background in child studies, exceptionality, and inclusive education. I am patient, attentive, and highly responsive to individual needs. I have experience supporting children with learning challenges and diverse abilities, and I focus on creating a calm, encouraging environment where students feel safe asking questions. I also emphasize skill-building, not just short-term results.
