My approach to tutoring is structured, focused, and tailored to each student’s goals. The first priority is to build a strong foundation, then gradually move towards examples and real-world application so students not only understand concepts but can confidently use them in practical scenarios.
In terms of methodology, I follow a “learn by doing” approach, especially for programming. Each concept is explained clearly and then immediately applied through hands-on exercises and mini-projects. I use real-world examples to demonstrate how technologies are used in actual development environments. For more advanced students, I incorporate project-based learning, debugging sessions, and code reviews to mirror professional workflows and strengthen problem-solving skills.
A typical lesson lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. This provides enough time for clear explanations, live coding, guided practice, and addressing questions without rushing. I also provide structured notes, assignments, and recorded sessions when needed, so students can revise and practice independently.
I have a strong background in software engineering, with experience across multiple programming languages and full-stack development. Alongside my technical work, I have consistently supported university students with coursework, exam preparation, and practical programming skills using online whiteboards and carefully designed learning materials.
