About Kethan

Hey! My name is Kethan and I'm a software engineer at Microsoft working in the security domain. I've 3+ years of experience as a developer working on various technologies along with a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science from Dalhousie University in Canada.

Out of my own passion and interest, I decided to share my knowledge with people looking to enter into IT world. Typically, most people, though they're very talented, lack the foundational skills to impress or prove themselves in an interview/exams. So, I'm here to help students as well as other non-technical people in improving their fundamental concepts and how to learning anything on their own in a quick short time.

About the lesson

I believe a strong foundation is critical for pursuing anything! I've been working as a software engineer for 3+ years with full-stack experience in the security domain, one of the most prominent and interesting fields in the IT industry. Additionally, I have a year of experience as a teaching assistant (TA) and marker at the university. These give me an added advantage in understanding the student's mindset and providing them with clear and concise explanations of the complex concepts required for any entry-level looking to achieve good grades or clear interviews to enter into the industry.

So my typical lessons would be more or less structured as follows:

- Initial assessment to determine what you're looking for and how good you're at your current skills.

- Help you build strong foundational knowledge in the weak areas.

- Going through homework, practice questions as well as other online material to improve your self-learning skills.

Additionally, we go through various latest technologies to stay up to date.

Some of the technologies I've worked with are Java, React, Dotnet, Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, Databases, Cloud services, etc.

My lessons would be a great asset for students or anyone looking to improve their foundational skills in CS and clear interviews or score excellent grades.
