About Henry
I am a Sociology Graduate who has a strong academic background in humanity and social science based subjects, such as Sociology, Geography and Economics. I also have a teaching qualification that has opened my world up to the endless ways to be able to inspire my students. I have been tutoring students for around 2 years now who all have achieved grade C or above into their subject area at both GCSEs and A-Level.

Due to my outgoing and extrovert personality I am able to help build up their confidence over the course of my tutoring. As all of my students are very capable individuals who just lack the confidence in themselves and doubt their abilities. My methods are the complete opposite traditional ways of teaching. What this means is I never lecture to the student, I never dictate what lessons will be for the student either. This doesn't mean lessons aren't structured though! This just means I always tailor my lessons to the individual student and the way they work best, finding solutions to problems they may of had in a traditional educational setting. Most importantly, the first lesson is spent getting to know the student. Dealing with any previous issues they may of had with teachers and simply aim to create and forge a new framework to their tailored needs and goals.

Details
My cancellation policy is very simple. Anything less than 24-hours notice, will be seen on a case by case basis how much monies will be refunded. The full amount of the lesson is charged if a 12-hour cancellation notice is not given before the lesson is due to take place .
