About Ellie
I am a student currently studying Sociology & Criminology at degree level. I recently achieved an A grade in my Sociology A-level, and so am up-to-date with new specifications and know what it is an examiner will be looking for. While I have no experience of private tuition, I frequently helped classmates throughout my studies and so have experience sharing my knowledge and helping those at a lower level answer the questions needed for their exams, in a calm and efficient manner.

I have experienced the benefits firsthand of what having a great teacher can do for both a pupil's confidence in a subject and their grade in class, and so would aim to mirror this experience in my own teaching. Using the PEELE structure, a widely-known and respected structuring tool within Sociology in schools and colleges, I will help pupils structure their essays using relevant content and ensuring they achieve the maximum amount of marks possible. I will teach pupils in a calm, reassuring yet structured manner and give both praise and feedback at all available opportunities, helping to boost their confidence in their ability while also continuously helping them to improve their grade.
