I am currently studying at the University of Cape Town. My majors are English and Sociology with an elective in Linguistics. I am an outgoing and patient person with great communication skills and enjoys helping others. I matriculated from Rustenburg Girls High Scool in 2018 with six distinctions. I am a confident and reliable person, I enjoy teaching and helping others. My tutoring methods would consist of identifying the issue the learner is having before the lesson time and then breaking down the problem during the lesson and explaining methods that the student can go about combating the issue. I would show the student how to break down and understanding the questions and identify what is required of them and then provide methods for best answering the question. The goal is for the student to successfully understand the question and know how to apply what they have learned to their answer by themselves. I will ensure that the student feels comfortable asking questions during the lesson and will encourage them to ask questions.
