About Evelina

I am a social science student with expertise in gender studies. I am bilingual (English, Greek) and I have a long experience in teaching English to foreign students in Greece and France. I am experienced both in private lessons and in collective discussions aimed at improving interpersonal skills and oral expression, in particular at the University of Lyon 1, where I was coordinator of the tutoring team at the Service Commun d'Enseignement des Langues.

About the lesson

I am qualified in identifying students' needs and designing a tailor-made teaching method. My methodology includes setting the grammatical basis, practicing oral expression from the start and working together on perfecting the writing skills of students. Preparing students for TOEIC exams and carrying out an intensive lesson plan are part of my main tasks. Apart from specialized needs, I propose a dynamic teaching which stems from understanding the language through constant practice.

Ioana

Evelina is easily one of the best tutors I've worked with. As a foreigner herself, she has a deeper understanding of the English language than most native speakers and a good grasp on grammar. She is easy to understand, always patient and accommodating with her students. This is what makes her such a good tutor: her approach to teaching, offering individual support based on every student's needs, while keeping each lesson educational and fun!

An understanding and ease with English well beyond her years, I couldn’t recommend Evelina highly enough. Her broad knowledge stretches from academic writing to demotic speech and everything in between.
