Perfect! Anqi is an outstanding tutor. She is super friendly, personable and brings a great energy to teaching. She knows just how to pitch the lessons, can quickly identify areas of strengths and opportunities for improvement, and most of all makes it fun. Even as two adult learners (me and my husband are learning together), the fun element is still exceedingly important.
We’re starting from scratch, and I’ve loved how clearly Anqi has explained tones, vowel and consonant sounds. She’s done so in a way that is clear and easily understandable, and finds ways to gamify the learning. She knows how much new content is right for a day, and so we haven’t felt overwhelmed at any point. When we aren’t quite getting something right, she handles it with supreme tact and helps us to improve.
Overall, I’m so grateful we found Anqi and I’m looking forward to learning more with her.
