About Agnes

With 8 years of professional experience and around 150 successful students, I am passionate about delivering structured and engaging flute lessons to learners of all ages. My teaching approach combines technical accuracy with creative development.

I focus on breath management, tone production, articulation clarity, finger agility, and rhythmic precision. I gradually introduce scales, sight-reading, and expressive performance techniques as students build confidence. I carefully assess each learner’s strengths and areas for improvement to create customised lesson plans.

One of my key strengths is simplifying complex techniques into easy, practical exercises that produce visible results. I encourage regular practice and provide constructive feedback for consistent growth. My goal is to help students become confident, disciplined, and passionate flute players.

About the lesson

My flute teaching methodology emphasises precision, consistent practice, adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. I believe students grow best when lessons are structured, personalised, and engaging.

I start with essential fundamentals such as posture, breathing techniques, embouchure formation, and tone production. Once students develop stability, I introduce finger exercises, scales, articulation, and rhythm drills. Gradually, I guide them towards expressive phrasing, dynamics, and stylistic interpretation.

Alongside practical playing, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and rhythm comprehension. This helps students connect technical skills with musical understanding.

Flexibility allows me to tailor lessons based on each student’s goals, whether preparing for exams, concerts, or personal enrichment. Collaboration is encouraged through repertoire selection, interactive discussions, and goal-setting.

I maintain a positive and motivating environment where students feel confident to explore, learn from mistakes, and make steady progress. My aim is to nurture disciplined, expressive, and confident flute players.
