About Flynn
I’m a singing tutor with over 9 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Arts and Opera. My greatest joy is helping students build vocal confidence, conquer performance anxiety, and connect emotionally with the music they love. I have a special passion for contemporary worship and gospel, and I guide students in finding both their voice and spiritual expression through song. I teach a variety of styles including Pop, Indie, R\&B, and Contemporary Worship, and I adapt each lesson to fit your voice, goals, and background. Whether you’re a shy beginner, a teen worship leader, or an aspiring recording artist, I meet you where you are and help you grow with care and encouragement. My lessons focus on healthy breath control, expressive phrasing, and vocal technique that supports both power and sensitivity. We’ll also work on vocal health, blending, harmony, and live performance coaching—especially for those leading worship or singing in front of a congregation. I create a supportive space where you can explore your voice freely and build the skills needed for meaningful performance. I believe music is a gift that connects us, heals us, and gives us strength. Let’s walk together on this journey of musical self-expression and spiritual discovery. My singing teaching approach focuses on building vocal dexterity, strength, and musical expression. I help students gain control over their voice while keeping the learning process enjoyable and clear. Whether you're singing solo or in a group, I shape lessons that match your level, style, and goals.
We work on vocal agility, runs and riffs, and melisma to navigate complex vocal passages with ease. I guide students through step-by-step techniques that improve flexibility, breath control, and tone clarity. Lessons include vocal warm-ups, ear training, and phrasing exercises that support both smooth singing and expressive delivery.
For those who sing in harmony or traditional folk settings, I provide strong support in learning detailed vocal ornamentation and blending. We break down fast passages and intricate lines so you can sing them with confidence and grace. Backing tracks, harmony layers, and listening drills keep each session engaging.
I believe that every singer can develop a voice that is both powerful and sensitive. My teaching builds skills that are useful in many styles, from classical and choral to pop and traditional.
