About Emily
Emily started her singing journey at the age of 12, graduated from University of Queensland with a Bachelors of Music in Opera Performance, travelled and performed in the UK and Europe and has been based in Melbourne since 2011.
Emily has over 15 years experience teaching singing and ten years within Melbourne private schools. Her singing teaching skills has spanned to conducting choirs and vocal coaching musical productions (Rags, Urine Town, Oliva, Toad of Toad Hall). Her own notable roles on stage include Josephine in HMS Pinafore, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, Johanna in Sweeney Todd and Ellen in Miss Saigon.

Lessons with Emily range from 30, 45 and 60 minutes which are tailored to each individual's targets and requirements, whether it's for fun, advancing skills, confidence building or singing professionally. Her experience includes teaching beginners to advanced levels of all ages and has much involvement with preparing students for VCE, VET and AMEB exams. From her grounded bel canto classical singing technique, she has an extensive understanding about the voice and adapting to all vocal genres and styles.
