About Marcia

My name is Marcia and I am currently based in Manchester but I have previously lived across the UK in Yorkshire, London and Cornwall. I love to sing and I have a desire to share my passion of music with students who want to explore their musical talents. I have been singing for over ten years and I have experience singing in prestigious venues such as Westminster Central Hall, Royal Festival Hall and Doncaster Mansion House. Music is such an important aspect of my life and some of my favourite artists include: Adele, Taylor Swift, Billy Joel, Kacey Musgraves, Etta James, Lauren Daigle, Tim McGraw and Freddie Mercury.

About the lesson

I believe that everyone has the capability to excel as a vocalist as long as they are trained how to use their voice. It is my aim that all of my students enjoy their lessons and have a passion for singing. I am a qualified singing teacher, with a distinction in Grade 8 Pop and Rock Vocals. I specialise in pop, rock, alternative, jazz, country and musical theatre, however, I believe that the foundations of singing are the same regardless of the genre. My lessons are designed for students aged 7 to 18. My typical lesson length is 40 minutes, however, this can be increased, particularly when there is an upcoming grade.

Excellent! Marcia is extremely approachable and an excellent listener with top analytic skills. Her interest in bettering my performance comes through in lessons. I feel she isn't only switched on during lessons but works on bettering my ability through study outside of them so she is well prepared for our next.
