About Bettine
I started playing piano when I was 5 years old. I got a technical degree from a Peruvian institution (AMS Campus) on Music Production. Whilst in Peru, I trained as an actor, going on to perform in different musicals such as: Bare, Apartados, and Mamma Mia! On the side I recorded and album called "Soy Opuesta" produced by Manuel Garrido-Lecca (Grammy nominated producer), as well as being part of two different bands: Stereonoiz and Resplandor (with whom I opened for The Cure and The Killers). I also tutored and led the group courses of theory and harmony for the Institution I trained in (AMS Campus) as well as tutoring piano for Sinfonia Por El Peru (led by Juan Diego Florez). I trained different students from different ages on piano, singing and acting.
I moved to London in late 2016 to pursue an acting career. I have trained both at Central School of Speech and Drama and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. I have performed at the Southwark Playhouse as part of "Barrio" (2018 and 2019). I have also released a new single called "Breathe In" for which I co-directed and starred in the video which is part of my recent album studio release "Map the Gaps", now available on media platforms.

My teaching methodology focuses primarily on what the student needs and goals.
I approach each student depending on their background and whether they would like specialise in classical music (for piano) or contemporary (both singing and piano).
I teach the technical, harmonic and functional part of both instruments and make the learning tailored to each student.
