About Mariana
I have been a professional musician and singer for more than six years. I am a graduate of the Music Teacher with Orientation in Jazz Singing (Argentina). I am dedicated to studying popular music, especially jazz and improvisation, but I have a lyrical vocal background and I am interested in all musical genres. For five years I have been giving private and group classes to people of all ages and all levels. I love to share my methodology to develop and strengthen the voice, and I really enjoy seeing the progress of my students in each class. Don't be afraid if you are a beginner or if you think you are out of tune, or have a "bad voice". Singing is a technique and is learned like any other discipline, with practice and work, but above all with enjoyment. Singing is the most beautiful thing in the world for me, and I am willing to help you do it! Any questions you have, write me and we will chat!

The classes will be divided into four essential steps: 1) Relaxation and breathing: We will do simple body exercises to relax the body and align it for a correct vocal emission. Then we will do breathing exercises (costdiaphragmatic) where we will also work on "support". 2) Vocalization: I will use a piano to perform vocalizations with arpeggios, major and minor scales, intervals, melodies, etc. In these exercises we will try to connect the breath, the support and the correct emission and posture of each vowel. 3) Repertoire: You can bring me all the songs you want to play and I will help you choose the right one to work with. We will work on stylistic, rhythmic and improvisational issues in each song. If you don't feel safe or secure to improvise, don't worry. We will work at your own pace, until you feel relaxed and confident. 4) Relaxation: We will take about five minutes at the end of the class to do small body relaxation exercises, so that you can go home feeling as good as possible.

Solo pude hacer unos meses de clase con Mariana, pero desde el primer momento empecé a ver cambios en mi voz y actitud al cantar. Me sentía muy insegura antes de hacer clases con ella, pero al poco pude empezar a cantar delante de gente gracias a la confianza que me dio.
