About Marcusli
I am a male singer, I came from a background which allowed me to be exposed to many musical genres including Cantonese Opera, Musical theatre, Pop music and Jazz music. I thrive in public performances, as I’ve learnt to build my confidence through years of experience. I started training for Cantonese Opera when I was three years old. And then at the age of 14 I went abroad to the UK to study, which was when I was trained to perform musical theatre, and was given the opportunity to perform songs in front of audiences.

For each student I will specifically work on what they want to achieve, whether it’d be vocal range, tone, and others. We’ll pick one specific thing and work on that. The lesson would usually begin with a physical and vocal warm-up. Students can then pick a specific song which they would like to sing, and I would provide guidance in places where e.g. they might not be confident enough to sing. Detailed analysis, by working together and finding out where we can improve e.g. breath support.
