About Afsaneh

Hi, I'm Afsaneh! I recently graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in Vocal Performance and Composition. I am very passionate about music and singing and want to share that passion with others. I have been performing since 2012 at venues and events such as Hot August Nights and TEDx, as well as at local bars and open mic nights. I have also written, produced, and recorded several songs and covers in my home studio that have received thousands of streams/views.

About the lesson

The most important thing for me as a teacher is ensuring that my students learn and understand how to take care of their voice and sing in a healthy manner. My typical lesson plan starts with assessing the student's voice and getting to know what you want to accomplish with singing. I can help students improve pitch accuracy through specific vocal exercises and become familiar with the basics of the voice.

Recommendations

I have seen Afsaneh perform many times at local venues and open mic nights, and I can confidently say that she is not only an excellent vocalist but also an amazing performer. I would highly recommend her as a voice teacher because she has many years of experience, and is a very talented individual.

I know Afsaneh from hiring her to sing on several of my original songs, which I pitch for licensing to TV, Film or Ads. Top-tier music supervisors are as wild for her style and talent as I am. I have hired studio singers who have appeared on "The Voice" and "America's Got Talent," and Afsaneh is still my favorite vocalist.

Beyond that, she is ultra polite and professional, and has given me singing tips that have proved extremely valuable. She began as a vocal student in grade school in our hometown, and continued through a top-level college program, and I recommend her highly as a vocal teacher. She knows the talk and she walks the walk.
