About Clarissa
I am an ex-teacher from Singapore who is passionate about teaching and guiding the younger generation in terms of instilling the love for learning and character-building. Hence, I have been a teacher ever since I graduated from the National Institute of Education in 2014 . Recently, I quit teaching as I found myself to prefer the personalised 1 to 1 interactions with my tuition students more, something which is not easy to do with a class of 40.
I have also worked with children with special needs for 2 years while on secondment during my teaching career. I am open to teaching children with special needs too (:

Difficult concepts are broken down into bite-sized pieces that can be easily understood by students. Have a wide range of questions that Singaporean students work on which can help to reinforce these concepts. I try to make learning as authentic as possible and give real life examples to enable students to not only understand the concept but also see how it applies to everyday life.
