About Shaw

Shaw is employed by the University of Cape Town as a part-time Computer Science tutor and received the 'Dean's Merit List' award in 2022 for having a distinction university average. Outside of academics, Shaw does volunteer work, including being a mentor for first-year students. Shaw matriculated with a distinction average and can tutor high school mathematics and physics, as well as undergraduate engineering mathematics, physics, and computer science.

About the lesson

My teaching method is outlining some critical points and examples. It is based on trying to get the student to think about what the solution will be before I actually get there, and then practice problems and past papers galore.
