About Raj
I’m Raj a Senior Product Manager with a strong background in maths, problem solving, and analytical thinking. I’ve always loved breaking down complex ideas into simple, logical steps, which naturally led me to teaching and tutoring maths. In my day job, I lead teams and shape product strategies skills that rely on clarity, structure, and effective communication. I bring that same approach to my tutoring: helping students understand why something works, not just how to do it. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Maths, specialising in Core Maths (Pure Maths). My sessions are focused and personalised students bring topics or questions they’re struggling with, and we work through them together to build confidence and mastery. I also mix in surprise topics and challenges to keep lessons engaging and stretch their understanding. My goal is simple: to make maths feel logical, approachable, and even enjoyable while helping students reach their full potential.

I tutor GCSE and A-Level Maths, specialising in Core Maths (Pure Maths). My lessons are designed to help students truly understand maths, not just memorise methods so they can approach any question with confidence. Each session is student-focused and tailored. I encourage students to bring specific topics or questions they’re struggling with, and we work through them together step by step. This makes our time productive and directly relevant to their goals. To keep things interesting, I’ll also introduce random challenges and new topics to test understanding and strengthen problem-solving skills especially useful for exams. Lessons last 1 hour, and I always adapt my explanations and pace to the student’s learning style. As a Senior Product Manager with a strong mathematical background, I’m used to breaking down complex ideas clearly and logically. My approach is friendly, structured, and focused on helping students build confidence as well as results.
