About Eri
Coming from a family of academics, with relatives holding titles such as PhDs, academic excellence has been a core tenet of my life from an early age. I’ve learned to maintain a high level of discipline and focus to keep a well-balanced life of both academic and sporting rigour - having also played basketball at a national and international level - as well as a good social life. I believe that I can offer a wholesome tutoring experience to students, more-so because of the proximal age gap and relatability of both life and academic experience that other tutors may not be able to offer.

We’ll usually start with a brief revision of content covered in the previous lesson and an outline of everything we’ll attempt to cover in the current lesson, which is typically 45min - 1h. I’ll also clearly explain the techniques and methods that will be used in the lesson. Then, we’ll use a mutual work-based approach whereby as a tutor I do the same work as the student alongside them to make them more comfortable. This also makes it easier for me to identify how and where the student might make any errors. I have been tutoring primary and secondary school children for a year, and I am open to teaching pupils in Years 5-11.
