About Tobin
I am a middle grades math and science major at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. I am an avid adventurer and football fan who is passionate about my school and my hobbies. Outside of tutoring, I will spend my free time in the outdoors, going out to town, or catching whatever football game is on. I aspire to be an educator because I love helping people, and it is an incredible feeling to see students succeed!

I like to prepare for my lessons beforehand to come up with the best way to help my students. My strategies consist of starting with basic concepts to help my students understand difficult problems. I am most skilled in grades six through nine in math and science. However, I have tutored elementary students and high school geometry in the past. I love working with students and seeing the "a-ha!" moments when they can solve a difficult problem.
