About Jeriah
Someone who believes math doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or boring. I’ve helped lots of students go from “I just don’t get this” to “wait, that actually makes sense.” My style is relaxed, clear, and focused on making sure you really understand what’s going on—not just memorize steps. I teach math by making it clear, step by step, so it feels less intimidating and starts to make sense. I use real-life examples you can relate to and ask guiding questions, so you understand why things work instead of just memorizing answers. My goal is always to help you see the logic behind each topic and feel more confident every time.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review to refresh your memory, then we explore a new topic together and practice it until you feel comfortable. You’ll also get a chance to try problems on your own while I help when needed. At the end, we do a short recap and talk about what to focus on next.
What makes me different as a tutor is that I’m patient, I adapt to how you learn best, and I make lessons interesting instead of boring. I want you not only to get the answers right but to actually feel good about math.
