About Michelle
I am an artist and maker by trade. I went and dropped out of Art School because it was a high-pressure environment that I excelled in but did not enjoy. I have found in my professional life as an artist that it was the practice of art more than the degree that I needed to push forward.
I made a great many things but I always come back to pencil and paper to get my ideas expressed.
If you would like to have more of a Bob Ross experience of learning to draw and don't want to do it by yourself, then I would urge you to try my tutoring, guidance, and encouragement.

My teaching method starts with consulting with you about your goals, timelines, and access to materials. Once we have established those basics we would typically start with exercises in exploring line and color, composition as well as work through concepts including composition, purpose, and technique with the chosen tools.
What sets me apart as a tutor is that I am someone who feels that anyone can start and improve their skills considerably in a matter of a season or even just a week. Drawing is not a talent, it is a skill. If you are willing to practice you can learn to do it.
My lessons are for those who want to explore drawing at their own pace and in a pressure-free environment.
