About AJ
I am a qualified secondary school Math teacher based in London, specializing in KS3 and GCSE Math. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and improve their understanding through clear explanations and a supportive teaching approach. With experience teaching students of different abilities in the classroom, I understand the common challenges students face and how to help them overcome them effectively. My lessons are organized, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, using my iPad as an interactive whiteboard so students can follow worked examples step by step. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing their mathematical skills with confidence.

My approach as a tutor is patient, supportive, and focused on building confidence. I break down difficult maths topics into simple steps and adapt lessons to each student’s learning style.
