About Ayesha

My name is Ayesha! Helping others through teaching always been something I have loved, and turns out I made a career out of it (and am not too bad at it either)! I get so much excitement from helping learners achieve those 'light-bulb' moments, which then evolves into this empowering sense of self confidence. I have worked in education for the last 6 years in a range of contexts, including helping students with special needs, First Nations learners, and young people in detention, and these experiences have reinforced my passion even more! I hope to be able to help you on your way to experiencing these moments too!

About the lesson

* One-on-one support with engaging with assessment criteria of the unit of work/assessment;
* Methodologies include explicit teaching of concepts, goal setting, modelling of learning, assisting in areas that present as gaps in learning, and proof-reading/editing strategies;
* 6 years experience working with learners from age 10-17 across a range of curriculum areas, both in a private tutoring setting and teaching in high school classrooms;
* Sessions typically from 1 hour, up to 3 hours.
