About Barnaby
I have consistently scored highly in maths tests at all levels of education. I scored 92% in A-Level Further Maths and 90% in my mathematics module at university. I have been able to achieve these results by approaching my exams methodically. I analyse what questions are likely to come up, and consistently find step by step methods that I can apply to the most common exam questions, so that I can pick up as many easy marks as possible.
Outside of maths, I hope to pursue a career in Finance and have completed various internships in investment banking, so if this is a career of interest I can help provide insight into that as well.

GCSEs and A-Levels repeat the same concepts every year in a slightly different format. I will work with you methodically through the curriculum, teaching you the approaches that I used for my exams, for every topic and question style that you feel you need help on. I will work to provide intuition and understanding of key concepts, as well as step by step methods you can use in exams.
The typical length of a lesson will be an hour. Although this can be shortened or lengthened as needed. I will also ask if there are any specific areas of the curriculum or questions that you want to focus on before the lesson so that I can prepare beforehand and maximise what you get from the session.
I have previous experience tutoring my friends A-Level maths and Further Maths on an informal basis as well as clients ranging between KS2 and GCSE.
