About Jennifer
I am a second year student of English Litrature and Creative Writing, with a great fondness for novels and screen writing. I myself was in the same position to you all, and it was through similar tutoring schemes that I was able to do so well academically. It is now my time to give back and help others the way I was helped before. I want to take on students, with the aim of imparting upon them the tools needed for them to reach their truest potential and achieve grades properly reflective of their capabilities. Being at a Russel Group univeristy now, I stand in a position where I practically know all the 'ins-and-outs' of what is expected, I practically know the 'system' and so all the advise and lessons you'll have with me will actually teach you things you can apply to your daily life.

I teach both KS3 and KS4, with the length of my KS3 lessons being 45 minutes, and my KS4 lessons being a total of 70 minutes. I tailor each lesson to the students own individual needs and personal goals, however, on a more broader spec, I aim to prepair the students for exams that are coming up. I do this through practising exam style questions with them, walking them through mark schemes to ensure they understand what is needed of them. I also spend the majority of the sessions, when needed, quizing, explaining and leading lectures on the very content that it is they are studying. I have had a plethora of experience teaching these two main groups, from running my own tutoring clubs to consistently tutoring for the past three years. I specialise in the AQA speck, but am more than willing to study an other exam board and meet the needed tutoring standards upon request.
My lessons are typically for people aged 11 to 17, with a good and solid literacy level.
