About Alasdair
I'm 19 and enjoy a wide variety of sports as well as an active lifestyle, I play rugby union in the winter and climb in the summer.
Having completed my GCSE's in 2018 and A-Levels in 2020 I have recent experience with both courses.
Doing sport as a degree has reinforced knowledge gained throughout my school career and has begun a path of lifelong interest I'm keen to share.
A 'traditional' style tutor may be desirable, I believe in embracing modern teaching techniques that don't wear a student down but creates enjoyment in learning and being self-reliant in resolving problems.

My methodology is based around clarity, patience and encouragement. I believe in adapting my methods of teaching for each student in order to achieve and surpass target grades.
Recently doing both the A-Level and GCSE PE course gives me an up to date understanding of exam technique (how to answer questions) and the specifications of the syllabus (content), as well as exam preparation and revision techniques.
