About Rhona

I am a second year sixth form student who understands how hard it can be to focus on education in highlighy chaotic world. With family, work, friends and global issues, education becomes difficult to prioritise but I hope, with my assistance, you can work smarter to ensure optimal time for your other commitments and optimal confidence in your academic success. I am studying politics, sociology and English literature at A-level with a broader interest in global politics, international relations and journalism. In my spare time, I write poetry and prose, direct plays at my local Playhouse, play in a band and spend a copious amount of time at my local cinema.

About the lesson

My KAT method is what I swear by for my own learning and what has helped me achieve throughout my academic career. Knowledge building, Application, Troubleshooting are the key types of lessons we will travel through together. our 'Knowledge Building' lessons will take a conversational style, introducing concepts and ideas from your subject in a way that feels organic, critical and genuinely engaging accompanied by recommended revision resources and activities. In our 'Knowledge Building' sessions, I may suggest extra reading and watching in order to immerse you in your subject and see it in a real work context (super curricular knowledge is gold-dust for top grades). As we progress, our 'Application' sessions will explore exam content, testing, tackling and hacking the specification to ensure optimal performance. And finally, in troubleshooting sessions, it is up to you- what are you worried about for the big exam? what topics do you need building on? what study methods do you need more intel on?Our 'Troubleshooting' sessions will fill in any gaps.y
