About Jessica

I have studied Spanish throughout Secondary school and had such a passion for it I studied it in A level and will be moving on to study it further in university. When u started Sixth form I set up a Spanish tutoring club, in which I helped students aged 11-14 to gain confidence in speaking, writing and understanding Spanish, helping them to find their love and inspiring them to study further. I liked the more informal feel that my class had, meaning I was able to understand what my students needed and wanted to get out of attending my class. I worked on grammar worksheets and activities to help to improve fluidity and confidence, helped them to learn about the culture and various important events in Spain and Latin-American culture.

About the lesson

My sessions tend to be no more than an hour. I like to communicate with what people are struggling with, whether it be listening skills, grammar, reading skills etc. I like to get students to become more involved and active in their learning and feel comfortable to discuss difficulty with me.
