About Seetha

Hi, my name is Seetha, and I’m currently a second-year medical student at the University of Otago. Throughout high school, my love for calculus and science continued to grow, shaping my academic journey and leading me into medicine.

I understand how challenging high school can feel—especially when you’re expected to learn independently and figure things out on your own. That’s why I’m passionate about tutoring. My goal is to make learning easier and more approachable for students.

I achieved Excellence Endorsements in NCEA throughout my senior years, so I know what it takes to succeed at a high level.

About the lesson

I tutor Maths and Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, and Biology) for students from Year 1 to Year 13, including NCEA preparation. My lessons are practical, engaging, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I focus on simplifying difficult concepts, working through problems step-by-step, and using real-life examples to help students understand.

For senior students, I provide targeted NCEA support, including exam strategies to build confidence and improve results. Sessions are typically around one hour but can be adjusted to suit individual needs.

With strong experience across a range of levels and a solid understanding of the NCEA curriculum, I’m passionate about helping students gain confidence and achieve their full potential. Whether you need ongoing support, help with specific topics, or exam preparation, I’m here to help.
