About Lathursan

Hello, I'm Lathursan, a second-year medical student at Kent and Medway Medical School. Having recently gone through the medical school application process myself, I understand how overwhelming and competitive it can feel.

I enjoy mentoring students and helping them develop the confidence, skills, and mindset needed to succeed. Whether it's UCAT preparation, strengthening a medicine application, or preparing for interviews, my goal is to provide honest guidance, practical advice, and personalised support every step of the way.

As someone who has successfully navigated the process and is now studying medicine, I can offer first-hand insight into what medical schools are looking for and how students can present the best version of themselves.

About the lesson

My name is Lathursan, and I am a second-year medical student at Kent and Medway Medical School. I achieved 2 A*s and 1 A at A-level, 7 Grade 9s and 2 Grade 8s at GCSE, and have earned distinctions in all second-year AKT examinations.

I offer personalised coaching for students applying to medicine, covering UCAT preparation, UCAS applications, personal statements, and interview practice. My teaching focuses on effective exam strategies, confidence building, and tailored feedback to help students maximise their potential.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are adapted to each student's needs and goals. My lessons are ideal for GCSE and A-level students aspiring to study medicine and looking for guidance from someone who has recently and successfully completed the admissions process.
