About Joe
Hey there, I'm Joe and I've always enjoyed learning maths, from quickfire calculations to more complex maths in the UKMT where I achieved Gold and Best in Year 4 years running. At A Level I also achieved an A* in both Maths and Further Maths, as well as Grade 9 at GCSE.
Teaching maths is very rewarding for me, whether it's helping a friend with homework or leading an intervention class for gcse students. I feel a great sense of acheivement in being able to help someone on their journey to enjoying maths and getting higher grades.

My aim is for students to gain understanding and enjoyment learning Maths. I teach at a pace that's comfortable for them and use numerous examples to complete their learning.
Furthermore, I assess their strengths and weaknesses so I can taylor lessons specifically to them, enabling them to achieve their desired grades.
