About Esha
I received 160/160 in my English Literature GCSE, a high Grade 9 in my English Language GCSE and A* at English Literature A-Level.
I hold 11 9s at GCSE and 4A*s at A-Level (Maths, Biology, Chemistry and English Literature), and so am incredibly conscious of factoring in skills such as time-management, prioritisation and planning, which I will also bring to each session as we maximise the output in the time given.
I received a Merit during my first year of Medicine, placing me in the top ranking of the highest 15% of the cohort.
Driven by genuine love of exploring texts (I am able to help with set texts ‘An Inspector Calls’, ‘Macbeth’, ‘A Christmas Carol’ and ‘Power and Conflict’ Anthology) and culturing my own creative flow and style of writing, my techniques did not rely on memorisation but understanding and engagement through a strategic approach that employed lectures, critical reading and discussion that I am extremely excited to share my findings from in a concise, grade-hitting manner.
I have extensive experience mentoring in debating, reading and public speaking with individuals from Year 5-Year 11, and found helping encourage rhetoric, persuasion and articulation skills deeply rewarding.

I know that English Literature and Language GCSEs can be tough subjects to navigate. I hope through tailored sessions I can not only boost progress, but nurture a connection with studied texts and writing that is fundamental to achievement in this field. We will explore different lenses through which to view texts, discuss perceptive theories, explore alternative interpretations, employ meaningful vocabulary, and implement context in a useful manner.
I am happy to help with creative writing and comprehension for all lower levels.
