About Arya

My Name is Arya Patel, I am a Second Year Software Engineering Student at the University of Calgary. I had a 3.96 GPA in high school, and apart from academics I am really interested in Tennis and was a professional player in the past. I speak four languages and love gaming. I am an outgoing person and will be ready to connect with people whenever I get a chance. I have teaching experience in the past and love teaching.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is centered around personalized instruction catering to each student's unique needs and learning style. I focus on building a solid foundational understanding of the subject matter, and then gradually increasing the complexity of the concepts as the student becomes more comfortable and confident. I use a variety of techniques to make the material engaging and relatable, including real-world examples, interactive exercises, and visual aids.

A typical lesson plan will start with a brief review of previously covered material, followed by a discussion of new concepts and their practical applications. We will then work through practice problems together, emphasizing identifying and addressing any areas where the student may be struggling. Finally, we will conclude the lesson with a summary of the key takeaways and any homework assignments or additional resources to aid in further study.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect with students on a personal level and create a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I am passionate about helping students overcome their academic challenges and reach their full potential, and I believe that a positive attitude and a growth mindset are essential for success.
