About Robbie
I am a second year Durham University student studying Chinese Studies. I am very friendly as well as cheeky, and have a range of hobbies which include music (I play for my college Jazz and rock band as the lead/rhythm guitarist and compose original scores and rock songs - which have accumulated over 2000 views on Youtube); and football (Liverpool FC supporter and 5 a-side footballer), so I am relatable and fun. My mathematics tutee received an A* at GCSE's, so I am confident I have the ability to help any Mandarin students achieve the same - after all, Mandarin is my real passion and specialty.

I first and foremost value patience and enjoyment with my students, doing so by creating a fun and comfortable atmosphere, combined with a vigorous working environment. After assessing the level of the student and/or what they'd like to get out of the lesson, I set out an aim or two, with the goal being to accomplish them by the end of lesson. I have a year's worth of experience teaching Mathematics at GCSE level. My lessons are for children aged 4-16 wishing to learn Mandarin at up to GCSE level.
