About Kira

Hello! My name is Kira, and I am a second-year Bachelor of Education (BEd) student, specializing in the Intermediate Phase. I am passionate about helping young learners reach their full potential and gain confidence in their studies.

I offer tutoring in English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, and Social Studies, focusing on core subjects for Grades R–7. My approach is learner-centered, interactive, and supportive, ensuring that each lesson is engaging, clear, and tailored to the learner’s needs. I use a mix of explanations, practical exercises, and fun activities to make learning enjoyable and effective.

Students working with me can expect a friendly, patient, and encouraging environment where questions are welcomed, and progress is carefully monitored. My lessons are ideal for learners who want to improve academically, strengthen literacy, numeracy, and understanding of social studies, or need extra support with homework and exam preparation.

About the lesson

I am a second-year BEd Intermediate Phase student at UNISA, passionate about helping learners build confidence and achieve their full potential. My teaching approach is learner-centered and engaging, focusing on understanding each child’s strengths and challenges. I believe in making lessons interactive and enjoyable, so learners are motivated to participate and retain knowledge.

I offer lessons in English and Afrikaans, covering core subjects for foundation and intermediate phase learners (Grades R–7). Each lesson is structured to include a mix of explanation, guided practice, and interactive exercises, tailored to the learner’s pace and learning style. I also incorporate homework support, exam preparation, and revision activities to reinforce understanding.

Students can expect a supportive and encouraging environment where questions are welcomed and individual progress is closely monitored. My lessons are aimed at learners who want to improve their academic performance, gain confidence in literacy and numeracy, or need extra support with homework and classwork. I adapt my methods to suit different learning needs, ensuring each student feels capable and motivated to succeed.
