About Kate
Hello! I'm a fourth year undergraduate Ecology student with degree emphasis on community ecology. I've taken full range of ecology courses from the intro to 4000 level with good marks and comprehension. I've been a paid university tutor for three years in a very casual setting and I've likely helped over 50 students.

Ecology is the study of connectivity, and this should be reflected in our understanding of ecology - thorough and thoughtfully put together. My teaching style stresses total comprehension and reasoning ability - I like to use graphs, charts, raw and experimental data analysis, and science article dissection. I like talk-style tutoring, and I ask questions to make sure we're on the same page, not to quiz for accuracy necessarily. Big picture understanding is important.
