About Rebecca
I am a third year student at the University of Worcester, studying Creative Writing joint with Screenwriting. I have several years experience working with children and young adults, gained through Scouting, Kingswood Learning center, and volunteering as a teaching assistant at my high school during my time in college. I am also currently a screenwriting mentor for the second year screenwriting students, assisting them with developing their work and teaching them along side their lecturers to boost the quality of their work.
I also offer sessions specifically for Screenwriting, focusing on formatting, story lining, development, world building and networking; as well as reading through first drafts and editing your work to bring it to its full potential.
Rates are £20/hr

My teaching methods focus on developing creative methods of study, providing an enjoyable and fun working environment for my students. I specialize in teaching poetry, creative writing, text commentary, writing and English literature. My methods often involve active learning such as use of white boards, games, quizzes, pictures, and self creativity, encouraging them to feel more confident with their work and approaching the tasks at hand.
