About Meera
I'm a fond reader and I enjoy all forms of books and literature. Having debated through college, I enjoy talking and sharing my knowledge and learning through discussion as much as possible. I'm a prose writer and from time to time, dabble in poetry as well.
All of this becomes relevant when I'm willing to help others express themselves, get comfortable and build a foundation in the English language and that's what I intend to do here.

I care about the conceptual understanding of topics and I follow one simple strategy after learning/teaching a new topic, practice and review repeatedly. The usual structure includes review of homework (if any), the subject matter, its practice and reviewing the answers with the students so that they may understand the common mistakes they tend to make from the get-go. I prefer to spend 10-15 minutes of every class for speech practice, be it in a spontaneous discussion or debate form, or a structured little speech about a random topic after preparation.
