About Sultan

Hi there! I am a third year medical student at BSMS and previous offer holder for Medicine at the University Of Cambridge, UCL and Imperial College London - I am tutoring to help students that require help in their KS2 all the way to A levels or with any admissions tests (BMAT) and personal statements which has been a request from many people for a long time! GCSE Students are welcome if they need help at any stage of learning too - whether that`s a head start or further reading. A levels can be very challenging and demanding in terms of time, effort and motivation. During exam period it is critical to plan and stick to a revision schedule in order for efficient productivity. Online learning is an option for students especially during the period of Covid-19, and I am able to help students with their studies whilst away from school. Depending on each individual's needs I can adapt to set homework, provide further information, set videos to watch alongside exam questions. Online learning this way has proven me well in my studies - previously I was thrilled with my certificate from a Cardiovascular Diseases programme, so I progressed and achieved in the Bioethics, Law and Medicine course by Harvard University. Both courses involved online lectures, research with current literature, writing reports, and providing feedback to students. This proved that teaching and reflection is equally important in Medicine as factual knowledge. I also have knowledge in US University applications having researched this year - such as Harvard, Stanford UCLA and Yale, so if students are considering applying abroad for university I would gladly be able to help to the best of my ability! Furthermore, I have attended multiple summer schools which I would be glad to help students apply for whether that`s for year 10 or 11 summer schools or year 12 and 13. As a student myself I can understand the frustration of getting to the next grade - whether that`s from an A to an A* or from a C to a B. I believe students are the best resource for learning - hence why most of the aid I received the past 2 years were from students! Furthermore I have a younger brother who can find it very difficult to study and is a student who lacks independence in thinking - however patience is key and over time students start to inhabit a natural mechanism of independence in their learning - and I would be willing to aid anyone who may require the extra support. It`s all about personal confidence. A few reviews from past students I received: Olexandra: Perfect! Amazing tutoring! Sultan is wonderful at helping understand confusing questions, understanding exam technique and is always happy to explain any topic right away. Furthermore, she is amazing at providing resources and help at any time of need. I would really recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their understanding of biology and the exam whilst being in a comfortable and positive environment and at ease to ask questions. :) A: I have been studying at the same school with Sultan for many years and she has not only helped me with academic and university work, however has helped my confidence in finessing my goals.
