About Rohit
I'm Rohit, an economics researcher based in Lucknow, currently pursuing my PhD after completing my MA in Economics. Teaching has been part of my journey from early on — I've lectured postgraduate students at Lucknow University and tutored MA Economics students independently, and I genuinely enjoy the moment a concept "clicks" for someone.
Alongside teaching, I've qualified UGC-NET/JRF four times and attempted the UPSC Indian Economic Service Mains — so I've been on both sides of these exams, as a student preparing under pressure and as someone who now helps others prepare. That's shaped how I teach: I don't just explain a concept once and move on, I make sure it holds up under exam conditions, viva questions, or a professor's follow-up.
I believe economics (and especially econometrics) gets a reputation for being dry or overly mathematical, when really it's about understanding how people and markets actually behave — the math is just the language we use to describe it. My goal in every class is to make that connection clear.

MA Economics graduate, currently pursuing a PhD, with experience teaching Microeconomics and Econometrics — as a lecturer at Lucknow University and through one-on-one tutoring. Qualified UGC-NET/JRF four times and attempted UPSC Indian Economic Service Mains, so I know exactly where students get stuck in these subjects.
I focus on real conceptual clarity, not just formulas — working through the logic in Microeconomics (consumer behavior, market structures, welfare economics) and breaking down Econometrics (regression, hypothesis testing, statistical methods) step by step so the math connects to what it's measuring.
Best suited for: MA/postgraduate Economics students, NET/JRF aspirants, and UPSC Economics optional/IES candidates. Classes are tailored to your goal — faster problem-solving for exam prep, or a slower pace for building foundational understanding.
