About Noah
I grew up in New Orleans and started playing the saxophone at the age of 13. I’ve been playing the saxophone for approximately 12 years, and I’ve been playing professionally with wedding bands, jazz combos, big bands, and more for the last 5 years. I’ve studied with teachers such as Khari Allen Lee, Tony Dagradi, Wess “Warmdaddy” Anderson, Brina Faciane and more. My favorite types of music are jazz, r&b, and neosoul.

My teaching approach is very discussion-based as well as demonstrative. It is important that students feel like they are able to have a comfortable dialogue with me. I will have my saxophone out to help demonstrate things such as tone, posture, technique and phrasing. I’ll also have piano nearby to help with ear training and learning harmony. I have numerous resources to work from as well that can be purchased by students, or I can make digital copies to send to them. Practice goals will be set at the end of each lesson as a form of assessment for the next lesson, and also to ensure that progress is being made.
