About Roy
Mathematics is best learned not by memorising formulas, but by dismantling them. I rarely follow the standard textbook sequence if a more intuitive path exists. Given my background in architecture and computer science, I view trigonometry and geometry as the physical language of space.
We treat SAT or ACT preparation as an exercise in strategy rather than simple repetition. You might find my approach to statistics feels more like design theory than arithmetic. I aim to keep the sessions grounded in the logic that governs our physical world. Let us clarify the concepts until the structure of the maths becomes clear.

I teach because the clarity of a mathematical proof offers a quiet refuge from the chaotic drafting table. Standing in front of a whiteboard, I watch the moment a student finally grasps a complex trigonometric identity or a thorny statistics problem. My 13 years of experience include navigating the rigorous logic required for a Master of Architecture and an MSc in Computer Science.
Over 113 students have trusted me to guide their journey through arithmetic, geometry, and mensuration. Vedic maths techniques often surprise those who find standard arithmetic tedious. I maintain a focus on exam prep for adults and those pursuing competitive entrance pathways.
My background allows me to connect high-level data analysis with fundamental number sense. I find that most challenges in probability are actually problems of spatial visualisation. There is a deep satisfaction in watching an adult learner clear a major academic hurdle. Sharing concept maps for every chapter keeps our progress visual and organised.
