About Dylan
I am originally from Flagstaff, AZ but now live in Bellingham, WA. Very different climates to say the least! My main hobbies are outside including skiing, climbing, hiking, and sports. I also love music and games! I am currently working as a tutor as well doing ski school at MT Baker on weekends in the winter. I thoroughly enjoy teaching people concepts that I find both entertaining and interesting in skiing, math, and test taking and hope to improve each student's scores.

My teaching method for both standardized tests and math is focused mainly on emphasizing both the key of practicing and giving simple, straightforward explanations of problems and concepts. I emphasize practicing by having prepared problems for us to work on every session and giving students effective learning assignments to do outside of lessons. I try and have my explanations be as clear as possible and be straight to the point on how to solve the problem.

Details
I do intro sessions for $30 then either $60 per hour or packages: 4 sessions for $220, 8 for $400, or 12 for $550. This is assuming 1hr sessions. If 1.5-2hr sessions are requested the rates would adjust proportionally.
